What will the weather be like in Charlotte in June?

In June, Charlotte daytime temperatures often hover close to 90°F. However, as the sun sets and evening approaches, there’s a noticeable cool-down, with temperatures dropping to an average of 65°F.

Who owns HPX?

HPX is owned by Taffy Event Strategies, a full-service trade show and management company comprised of forward-thinking experts who live for producing events that are seamless, vibrant, and innovative.

HPX is hosted by the North Carolina Motorsports Association. NCMA is dedicated to championing motorsports. Their vision is to advance and promote the motorsports industry by providing leadership, advocacy, and resources for industry professionals, enthusiasts, and fans.

Does the Charlotte Convention Center offer assistance for visitors with disabilities?

The Charlotte Convention Center is committed to accommodating the needs of individuals with disabilities. The CCC is accessible to disabled patrons as required by the ADA and applicable regulations.

  • Accessible restrooms, family restrooms and lower height water fountains are available throughout the facility.
  • Disability parking is available at prevailing rates in the NASCAR Hall of Fame parking deck adjacent to the CCC. Attendees must display proper identification on their vehicle.
  • Drivers may drop off and pick up passengers with mobility concerns in the taxi lane, located on College Street. Attendees must call the Security desk at 704-339-6090 for assistance.
  • There are two Mother’s Rooms located in the CCC (across from room W211 and by the Richardson Ballroom Section B). Each is equipped with a chair, stool, and refrigerator. These rooms are private and can be locked.
What is the show solicitation policy?

Soliciting business in the aisles of the exhibit hall or in other public spaces, including another company’s booth or a hotel lobby is prohibited by HPX Show Management, and anyone observed approaching buyers in the aisle or in an exhibitor’s booth, who is not a legitimate exhibitor, should be reported to Show Management.

Is photography allowed on the show floor?

No, due to the sensitive nature of new products and unique booth displays, photography and video recording of any booths by attendee or exhibitor personnel is prohibited. Exceptions are made only when permission is obtained from the exhibitor whose booth or product is being photographed or videotaped and all individuals appearing in such.

Is there a mobile app for HPX?

Yes! The HPX mobile app will be available to download from the Apple App Store or Google Play closer to the show. 

Is there a dress code?

There is no stated dress code to attend HPX 2026; however, we recommend you dress professionally to make the best impression on your potential partners. Due to the amount of walking on the show floor, we encourage wearing comfortable shoes as well.

Does HPX sell the attendee list?

HPX will never sell or distribute the attendee list. If you are contacted offering the attendee list, please be on alert and forward these inquiries to Kelly Williamson at KWilliamson@TheHPX.com. We are constantly working to limit and prevent scams against our exhibiting companies and partners.

When will I be able to book hotel rooms for HPX 2026?

I plan to drive to the show. How do I get there and where do I park?

Two major highways, I-85 and I-77, connect Charlotte to cities in the Northeast, Southeast and Midwest. Less than one hour north, I-40 provides an east/west link with coast-to-coast access.

  • From I-77 North/US Highway 74 West (Wilkinson Boulevard)/Airport, exit off I-277 North onto Exit 1E/S College Street. Drive .4 miles, and the convention center will be on the right.
  • From I-77 South/I-85 South and North/US Highway 74 East (Independence Boulevard), exit off I-277 South onto Exit 1E/Brooklyn Village Avenue. Turn left onto Brooklyn Village Avenue. At the third light, take a right onto College Street. The convention center will be on the right.
Where can I park?

There are several parking lots in the convention district, with the NASCAR Hall of Fame garage being directly attached to the convention center. A map of local parking lots will be provided upon request.

Is there a place to store luggage at the Charlotte Convention Center?

Yes – check back for hours and location.

Is there an age restriction in registering and attending HPX 2026?

Students and children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult registrant.

Can I bring my pet to the show?

Will food & beverages be available at the event?

A multitude of concessions and coffee stands will be available in the lobbies of the Charlotte Convention Center. Concessions are also available on the show floor.

Will there be education at the event?

Yes – Two HPX Theaters are located on the trade show floor – and included in all registration passes (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).

Plus – morning programming on Tuesday and Wednesday – Women’s Em[POWER]ment Summit (Tuesday 9am-1pm) and the Automotive Leadership Conference (Wednesday 9am-1pm).

Where is registration and badge pickup located?

The Registration and badge pick-up desks will be in the Lobby A of the Charlotte Convention Center – off the College Street entrance.

When and where can I pick up my badge?

Attendees can register or pick up their badges onsite at the registration counters located in Lobby A of the Charlotte Convention Center off the College Street entrance during the following days:

  • Monday, June 1 | 1:00pm – 5:00pm
  • Tuesday, June 2 | 8:00am – 6:30pm
  • Wednesday, June 3 | 8:00am – 6:30pm
  • Thursday, June 4 | 8:00am – 3pm
Can my child attend HPX?

Yes. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. Registration of children is complimentary and must be done onsite and a waiver must be signed. All children except infants in backpacks or slings must be registered and display a badge to be admitted to the show floor. Strollers for children are permitted on the show floor during published show hours. Attendees assume all risks associated with the use of strollers on the show floor, including but not limited to personal injury or property damage.

Can I give my badge to a friend?

Badges CANNOT be reproduced, transferred, or resold. All HPX attendees and exhibiting personnel must be prepared to provide a matching government-issued photo ID upon request. Show Management reserves the right to refuse admission and revoke a badge. If badge sharing is discovered, both parties will be escorted from the show floor and may not be allowed to attend future events.

EXHIBITORS

What is the cost per square foot to exhibit?

Pricing varies based on timing, but members of NCMA receive a discount. What comes with my booth?

Each linear exhibitor will be provided with 8′ high black back drape and 3′ high black side drape. Booths 300 SF or less (10’x10’, 10’x20’ and 10’x30’ inline) will receive an identification sign.

What is the HPX Exhibitor Hub?

The HPX Exhibitor Hub is where exhibitors can update their company profile for the online exhibitor list and mobile app as well as access registration, the Exhibitor Services Manual (ESM), and crucial forms and show information. Every exhibitor will need to create a login to access the system.

What is the payment schedule?

The payment schedule is outlined in the terms of your contract. In general, 25% is due upon selecting space, 50% is due by September 2, 2025, and 100% is due by December 2, 2025. After December 2, 2025, full payment is due with the contract.

What is the cancellation policy for exhibitors?

The cancellation policy is outlined on your booth contract. Depending on the date of the cancellation, either 25%, 50%, or 100% of your commitment will be considered due at the time of cancellation.

How many badges do we receive with our booth?

100 – 199 SF | 5 badges
200 – 400 SF | 10 badges
401 – 900 SF | 15 badges
901 – 1,500 SF | 25 badges
1,501 – 2,500 SF | 40 badges
2,501+ SF | 50 badges

If you go over your badge allotment, additional badges may be purchased for $60. Exhibitor badges are to be used strictly for company personnel.

How do I book hotel rooms for booth staff?

How do I change my company’s designated key contact?

If you need to change your company’s designated key contact, we must receive the request in writing. Please email the new key contact’s name, phone and email address to Kelly Williamson at KWilliamson@TheHPX.com.

Are Drones | Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) allowed at HPX?

Drones | UAVs of any kind are not allowed on the HPX show floor or at the Charlotte Convention Center and will be confiscated until show end.

What if I want to display a vehicle in my booth?

Booth vehicles may be moved in once the booth is completely set and empty freight has been removed. There must also be a clear aisle to get the vehicle to your booth. Once these criteria have been met, an Expo Group representative will assist you. You must also complete the vehicle display form located in the Exhibitor Service Manual, available February 2026.

Does HPX sell the attendee list?

What does right-to-work mean?

North Carolina is a “right-to-work” state. Exhibitor personnel may set up their own exhibits if so desired; however, labor is available to assist in the installation and dismantle of exhibit booths. Exhibit labor, freight and rigging labor, electricians and plumbers can be arranged at established rates, using the order forms in the Exhibitor Service Manual (ESM).

What are the onsite exhibitor registration hours?

Exhibitors can register or pick up their badges onsite at the registration counters located in the lobby of the Charlotte Convention Center during the following days and times:

  • Monday, June 1 | 1:00pm – 5:00pm
  • Tuesday, June 2 | 8:00am – 6:30pm
  • Wednesday, June 3 | 8:00am – 6:30pm
  • Thursday, June 4 | 8:00am – 3:00pm

On Saturday, May 30th and Sunday, May 31st, exhibitor personnel will need wristbands to access the show floor.

Can I have my exhibitor badge made with a different company name?

Exhibitor badges will only be issued with the official exhibiting company name provided on your company’s booth space application. Exhibitor badges will not be issued to non-exhibiting business associates, relatives, friends, or guests.

When do I have to wear my badge?

Badges must always be worn in all HPX areas and at all HPX functions.

How do I ship freight to HPX?

Exhibitors can ship to the advance warehouse or directly to show site. Shipping instructions will be found in the Exhibitor Service Manual which will be available February 2026.

Can I schedule a meeting or event in my booth before or after show hours?

To schedule a meeting outside of show hours, you will need to submit your request in writing to Kelly Williamson at KWilliamson@TheHPX.com. If approved, you may be required to provide security in your booth to ensure that your guests remain in your booth.

Is meeting space available off the show floor?

There will be a limited number of meeting rooms available for exhibitors to rent at the Charlotte Convention Center. Requests for meeting space should be sent to Kelly Williamson at KWilliamson@TheHPX.com.

MEDIA

Who qualifies for HPX media credentials?

Media credentials are available for working media in the automotive, aftermarket, automotive racing, motorsports and related industry areas. This includes but is not limited to reporters, editors, camera crew members, photographers, social media influencers and content creators.  You may be asked to provide proof that you are a working member of the media. This could include:

  • PDF or JPG of editorial work that includes a byline, publication name and date of publication, etc. 
  • Web links to your bylined work in the form of print, photo, audio or video 
  • Links to coverage published on social media 
  •  A business card with a corresponding driver’s license 
  • Photo credited photography Registrations are pending until approved. 

All registrations are being qualified and vetted.

How do I request HPX media credentials?

Media registration for the show opens in February 2026 at www.TheHPX.com under the media tab.

How and when will I receive my HPX media credential?

You can pick up your media credential in the Media Room during the posted hours in the Run of Show coming soon.

What is available in the HPX Media Room?
  • Press information from exhibitors
  • Internet access/WiFi
  • Workstations
  • Refreshments and snacks

Note: There is a UPS office center located in the convention center for additional printing and copying needs.

Do I need additional permits or credentials for photography or videography equipment at HPX?

Your media credential access includes photo and video equipment required to do your job.

However, due to the sensitive nature of new products and unique booth displays, photography and video recording of any booth or product requires the express permission the exhibitor.

Can I use a drone for coverage purposes at HPX?

Drones | UAVs of any kind are not allowed on the show floor at the Charlotte Convention Center.

What is the policy on motorized carts and equipment carriers at HPX?

Two-wheel hand trucks/carts are permitted. Motorized carts and carries are not allowed on the convention center floor. 

Are segways, scooters, hoverboards or similar devices allowed on the HPX show floor? Hoverboards of any kind are NOT allowed on the floor at the Charlotte Convention Center. 

Can I rent a cart to carry my equipment on the HPX show floor?

No. Please be prepared to carry your equipment with your own handcart.

How can I find out who is exhibiting at HPX?

Yes! You can look at the show floor plan on the website in advance of the show, and the HPX mobile app will be available to download from the Apple App Store or Google Play closer to the show. This will highlight important show details including exhibitors, show floor map, educational programming, mixers, newsworthy events and happenings.

Is there a schedule/list of new products, reveals and newsworthy activities at HPX?

The HPX 2026 Mobile App will have information on the show schedule, a map, exhibitors, etc., when it becomes available. In addition, on the HPX website, the ATTEND page will have all of the event information. This page will be updated often, so check back regularly. 

Do Public Relations, Marketing, social media and other exhibitor support professionals qualify for HPX media credentials?

No. Public relations, marketing, social media and video production team members representing exhibitors and manufacturers do not qualify for media credentials. In addition, those who solicit and charge companies to be covered do not qualify for media access.  

Do HPX media credentials provide access to opening, general, closing and educational sessions?

Media are welcome to attend the sessions open to all exhibitors and attendees of the show to cover the event. Attendance at private functions and mixers are at the approval and discretion of the organizer.
